I have to ask. Does anyone else on here get a huge kick out of Road Kill, the show?

Safety Car
Road Kill did an episode awhile back here in Canada about a guy just down the road from me. He has about 400 old and classic cars collecting rust in his yard that he has been "accumulating" for the last 40 years. The episode was so popular the History Channel decided to do a spin off series on Mike which just started on the 6th of Dec here called Rust Valley Restorers. Going over to his place is like going to the best junk yard you ever saw in 1972.

I love Roadkill and the whole crew. I've watched every episode since the beginning, met them in person, hung out with some of them on the Power Tour last year. Cool guys that are living the "car guy's" dream.... They really encouraged me to DRIVE my car....I've done 2 cross country trips in it thanks to them... I dig most everything they do besides the truck/4x4 stuff.

Best TV out there, I subscribe to the motor trend channel and they have a list of great shows there, Roadkill, Roadkill garage, Hotrod garage ( similar to the roadkill stuff but with good parts), and of course Engine Masters. I learned alot from these guys, wish I had a dyno sitting around so I could experiment with different ideas.
The c4 show where they stripped a c4 down to the frame and raced a Lingenfelter c7 vette was cool.
One of my favoritess is the Disgustang revival
The best thing is that they all work out of the same shop so they are constantly stealing each others parts. In one show they cut a hole in one of the others shop cars for the sheet metal.
The roadkill garage reminds me of being a kid without the money
I want to buy a roadkill t shirt, a stubby bob shirt and a general mayhem shirt.

I loved the show until Dodge came in and ruined it. I still watch it though.
I even got in a mini pissing contest with Mike Finnegan on YouTube comments on one of the videos about my distaste for Dodge becoming a sponsor. I understand they felt the show needed to be sponsored to continue but I just don't like the way Dodge sponsors stuff. Personal thing I guess.
I 100% agree with @Rescue Rogers above, If you like Roadkill, check out Engine Masters, Roadkill Garage and Hot Rod Garage. All in certain ways are even better shows than the current Roadkill.
The other downhill slide to Roadkill is Finnegan moved to Georgia and you can tell that has hampered the show.

Like all shows there are good episodes and there are bad episodes. Generally there are more good ones than bad ones compared to other shows. I personally liked the NASCAR circle track Charger rescue episode as the one that resonated with me the the best.

Good show overall, watched most of them. Does give off the tone of keeping it simple cheap and fun the way it should be.

So it's no doubt they have some skills but they really just build junk. Yes they can pull stuff out of the weeds but to what end? I'm guessing everything they build just goes back into the weeds or has some stupid display at SEMA.
Just my .02 but they could do a lot better. C3 chassis under a rusted piece of junk Buick? Let's hope Motor Trend will do better.

so you didnt watch the shows then. Did you build your car? Pulling something out of the junk yard and getting it to go 12"s is just dumb luck i guess. Doing something and getting agood laugh out of it, developing a following and getting Dodge to sponsor you and give you dodge demons to thrash and donate motors isnt impressive. spinning off the show into 3 other successful shows and setting the current record for a stock bottom end LS at 1500 HP is just what everyone does. Where can I find your you tube channel there Bubba?
