That will be a bridge too far. You will rub the moment you turn your steering wheel

It's been done. They stick out a bit in front depending on how much negative camber you run, just make sure to use the GS 50 mm offset wheels.

Here's an older thread on the topic from the AX/RR section, google search yields more info and pics:

That’s exactly what I run on my 99 FRC.

I have the DRM brake ducts, and the tires barely rub the ducts, only at full steering lock.

No issues. But They do stick out in the front.

Just remember-------The factory difference between the front tire hieght and the rear tire hieght is 1" The rears being 1" taller This is called the "split" If you alter away too far from this stock split your ABS braking system will not work as designed and maybe not at all----So be careful when altering tire sizes--This is a safety issue far more important than looks

I ran a 17x11 square setup with 315/35/17 tires on my 2003 Z06 with no issues. The wheels were the ZR1 style C4 wheels with the GS offset. The ABS/TC/AH all worked fine with that setup. On track or at an autocross I would turn off TC and AH and the car ran fine. Cornering was excellent. Previous to running the 17x11s in the front I had been running 17x9.5 C4 ZR1 wheels with 275/40/17 tires. They had the same 25.3 inch diameter as the 315s so from a diameter stand point I was running a square setup even with smaller width tires in front. The biggest problem with running that setup is a poor tire selection. When I was running my setup Kumho stopped subsidizing racers and the supply of used Kumho V700s dried up. When I went to running 10.5x18 inch wheels front and rear with Hoosiers I never got the same handling I had with the previous setup.
