Brand new Front splitter and it’s cracked out of the box
Just pulled this out of the box.
In your opinion, doesn’t it appear they tried to repair a crack before sending it out?
This particular company uses a vacuum forming process and should not have that reinforced area directly on the underside of where the crack is on the top front. The opposite end of the splitter in the same area does not have it, that area is smooth like the rest of the underside.
I will not mention the company at this time unless I don’t get a call tag and credit. Hoping to not go that route but I am very surprised that this company would repair a cracked splitter and send it out as new.

Keep your powder dry until they've had reasonable time to respond, what constitutes 'reasonable' up to you.
Consider posting this to Transactions/Feedback whether good or bad outcome.
An interesting test of the outfit's character, beyond sending a suspect piece.

It's very possible that it was returned to the seller for a refund and never checked, before shipping it to you. The epitome of laziness, and not caring!

Manufacturer contacted me and is more than taking care of me. It was mistakenly sent out as a “blem” unit. I was truly hoping that this wasn’t intentional, and it wasn’t, which is why I didn’t want to mention the manufacturer, but yet only get some of your opinions.
