68 windshield squirter placement Q?

68 windshield squirter placement Q?
ok, i have just figured out that they placed the windshield squirters in 3 different places on the 68 grills! well i had all my grills soda blasted clean, now i dont know what one is right? what is the cut off for the different placements? does anyone know? let me know guys!!! thanks troy

Offhand, I don't know that the positions actually changed. Have you checked the Judging Guide? Regardless, use your existing mounting holes.

there lies the problem mike! when i had the body soda blasted, i had all my loose pieces blasted also.. i had 3 front wiper grills, 2 wiper door asemb. 3 sets of rear grills.. 2 sets of doors. 2 deck lids and so on...so you see i have 3 perfectly blasted front wiper grills... one notched and drilled... one drilled but not notched...and one not drilled at all.....i know its either the notched and drilled one, or just the drilled one.. my car is a JAN 68 SN09105 build and it seems the tech manual says that: somewhere around SN16000 the notch was eliminated because of weakness...i just was hoping someone would chime in and say "yes or no" for sure. the judging guide has already been proven wrong a couple times..other wise im going with the notched one. sorry for the ramblings mike! but its snowing in michigan and i am already getting cabin fever!! thanks troy
