Default No sound from Radio. What can be issue?

Hi all. So after a nice rain storm out here, I tried to turn on car and heard a screaching sound then no more audio from radio.

It turns on, antenna works but no sound. I have been reading about the CDM but not sure how to diagnose this problem.

Any advice?

thanks

Bose speakers have amp made to them blow amp can take one or more speakers out. The rear speakers are easier to access so i would check Orange and Black for voltage( amp) other 2 colored wires are for sound. No power to amps - fuse or relay.

Have you turned up the volume control? Is it dead or static?

You could. You actually want to know if speaker amp are getting have power and ground; and speaker is getting signal from radio.

Yes, tried to turn up volume all the way and no sound. No static either. I also tried to change the balance from front to back and left to right and no sound from any speaker.

ok will try to remove the front passenger speaker to see if that is the cause. Do you know if I remove that speaker, will the other speakers work?
