Two carburetors, will it fit?

Two carburetors, will it fit?
I am considering to put a 327 in my 68. The 327 has two carburetors, and I am not sure if it will fit. The engine that is currently in, is broken. It was a 350. Before the 350, a 427 was in the vette. Does anyone know if the 327 will fit? Thanks

a 327 was the original engine in a base 1968 so the engine will fit. Concerning the intake and carburetors, measure the clearance above your current intake and carb and compare to the height on the new engine.

But you need to guesstimate forward. The front of a single 4v air filter is not so far forward. They make a level with a protractor on it. Cuz the hood slopes forward. Most GM intakes have the carb flange angled down in front. That 8v intake looks level. But it is a fairly low rise intake. So it might fit. Worst case scenario, your 350 intake you know fits. And as I suggested in the other thread, I would pull the heads and pan and see what that engine has for crank, pistons, rods, valvetrain. And whether it is a 4 bolt or not.

Nice 68....can't tell if that haircut is a mullet tho! LOL
I'm betting on fitment....the carbs are tall and the aircleaner(s) are taller yet again.
Like others have said MEASURE.
Here's an old trick....Get a blob of Plasticine clay and stick it onto the forward edge of the aircleaner....slowly, gently shut hood..(If you can)...when you open the hood, you'll see the clearance, if any.
My bet is, it will fit , but you may have to get shorter wider aircleaners.
Where was the picture taken, PA?

Nope wouldn't have guessed Norway....C-3's around the world.
Okay this is easier than it seems...
The 327 and 350 are basically the same block....the engine mounts and tranny mount are in the same place and on the same plane....so Q#1 is answered "Will it fit?" A= Yes.
Next is the stack up height of the carbs...and the overly large valve covers.
Chevy designed this engine compartment for the BIG BLOCK...which was/is pretty massive....As I said....my 'eye' says the aircleaner height will make the difference and they're easy to swap out.
A few measurements on the old 350 vs the 327 will allay your fears. Measure from engine mount to top of forward air cleaner and the same on the frame to the hood...at least.
If it was me I'd take the risk and but the 327....very low risk of fitment.
Take two Lutefisk and call me in the morning. LOL.
Good luck....will be a very nice car.

Engine will fit but carb/intake combo may not as all have said. You need an engine. Buy it. Put it in. If carb/intake doesn't fit, put a single 4-bbl/intake combo on it. That will fit.
