How do I get GM supplier pricing with corvette museum not being eligible anymore??
Hey Guys,
Looking to buy a new corvette and I saw I can get GM supplier pricing if I was a Corvette museum membership. So I signed up as a basic member ($50) and I called the museum and they said the no longer have approvals to give GM supplier codes to museum members??? My work does not let me qualify for the supplier price and wondering if anyone has any ideas on how I can acquire a code?
Thank you

Can't help you get a code, but I think you can do better on your own.
I had access to Supplier Pricing, and found I could get better prices without using it. LOTS of dealers discounting C7's now.
(The dealers around here that did not offer discounts also refused to honor "Supplier Pricing" too, so there's that)

Also, GM is offering the Corvettes at employee pricing if that helps. It was so good I just bought a new one from Criswell Chevrolet.

I should have quoted Rebel Yell’s post in my post to this thread..... to clarify my original post regarding “that Furman guy”.

gotcha. I already found the car I want (2019 so employee pricing will not work) but I am more after the supplier option and if anyone has input on that please let me know. something I can just sign up for like the corvette museum deal was. Cant believe they cancelled that program.

if you know or are related to someone who works at GM or a supplier, they also have a "Family and Friends" program which you could use to get a number...…………….
You may want to do some more research before settling on what a dealer tells you related to pricing?

If you've been listening to the radio, you would know that everybody is getting GM Employee pricing on new Chevrolets. That means everyone that is buying right now. An excellent time to buy a new Corvette.

I joined NCM for the supplier discount and didn't use it, went with MacMulkin and got more off the top anyway. Local dealers wouldnt get close to them. Biggest vette dealer in AL freaked out when I told them what MacMulkin was giving me off.
So I'd either take the employee discount on the 18s or buy a 19 from MacMulkin/Kerbeck/etc. and just have it courtesy delivered to your local dealer.

Supplier and employee pricing is a joke. Just like the made up invoice price. If they sold the car under invoice wouldn't they lose money? I was able to get a little over 12% off recently with not much push back from the dealer. More than twice off my supplier pricing. What state are you in? Good luck with your purchase.

2019 calender year would be the time to buy.
the more c7 s dealers move in calender year 2019 the larger their allocation of c8 s are for the first year of production.( if past generational introduction allocation process holds true).
20 or 30 days should be no sweat to wait...
i see fire sales on the horizon for c7 s very shortly.
rumors are there is 20k units in unsold c7 inventory...
Just hold off a little unless you see the car with the exact color and options you just have to own...
then the extra discount we expect come 2019 calender year is meaningless.
if you are ordering a specific car with the usual 7 week delivery...then wait till calender year 2019...a repeat of 2017 discounts should be easy ...(that was the last batch before using the newly installed longer baking process paint shop and the 2017 discounts were running close to 25 percent if I remember correctly)
my buddy flew out to detroit to pick up a new 2017 1LT grand sport manual for $56888...you couldnt beat that deal with a stick...and there were many other great deals for those with higher interior option packages..
my buddy who happens to be my dentist flew out and drove home that weekend...
he said that weekend drive home was an amazing life event ..
the corvette dealer was les stanford,,,and the entire process was seamless and uterly professional...buy from a forum vendor..my last corvette i bought was from kerbeck and it also was seamless and profesional.,,you are welcomed with open arms to service your corvette anywhere...no matter where you buy it...
thats my advice fwiw..
good luck

If you are still interested in Supplier Pricing you can try joining the Grand Sport Registry maybe? Not sure if you can without owning a GS, but maybe you can if you're buying one? Check with Hutch over there who runs the site.
I would confirm first that you will actually have benefit by using the supplier pricing over and above the pricing benefits of some of the big national dealers on this forum.
