Default I went to the “dark side” and now I’m back!

Been a few years since I’ve been back on this site. Played around in the sport bike game for a while, then Harleys, then built an 03 SVT Cobra... but now I’m back!

Drove 5 hours out to Ohio to pick up this beautiful ‘08 Z06 with 9,091 miles on it. Literally looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Immaculate condition. Totally stock (heads not fixed for those who will ask. That will be taken care of with a Stage 3 package from RPM in April). All the original purchase paperwork, service records, receipts, showroom booklets, color swatches, etc. Usually not one to post much but I thought it was worth it to say I’m back . I still have my ‘05 LeMans Blue convertible too for those wondering. Two vettes in the garage now!

Congrats and welcome back. I find that having a sport bike and a Corvette is the best of both worlds.

Congrats!

And that is so not what I thought the Dark Side was in reference to.

p.s. I still have my '05 LMB vert, too!

Welcome back. I have my Indy Version C6, and just picked up my FJR 1300 this summer. Love my sport touring and C6. Hard to decide which one to drive in nice weather.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone.

Granted, the Boss is a much newer car than my Cobra was but the Z06 is just on a completely different level than my Cobra was, even with how built that thing was.

It is a struggle sometimes. Some days I want to take the Z out, others, I’ll hop on my Ninja 1000 and head out for a few hours.

Haha. Sorry about that. My friend group refers to the mustangs as “the dark side.” Gotta love the LMB though. Gorgeous color. Might be my favorite.

That’s exactly why I have the 2 vettes and a Ninja 1000.

Congratulations and beautiful car! The LS7 drivetrain is the most intoxicating motor I have ever experienced! Make sure to get what appears to be the original Goodyears off that gorgeous car as soon as you can.

That, Sir, is a very pretty red car. Here's wishing you lots of happy and safe miles in it.

We trudge on.

I came from the dark side too ! I had a 2007 Mustang GT/CS with a Roush TVS 2.3L supercharger making 495 rwhp. I describe that car as a tease. It never really delivered the performance I was looking for (braking, handling, acceleration, looks etc,) so I bought a 2012 Grandsport and couldn't be happier. The Vette is a whole different animal than the mustang was and I haven't even started modding yet (except for the MGW shifter and Kenwood Nav Unit).
