I have heard some dumb questions on here but this almost the worst. Agree with Turbo6TA.

Perhaps you mean a C6 quick fill system for the gas tanks? Like this type of thing? >> https://www.racereadyproducts.com/fu...fender-filler/
Corvette C6 fuel tanks are not exactly suited to ramming gas into them, there are two tanks connected with a cross fill pipe (and other fuel tank components) that can be damaged by doing that.
Do some 'searches' on this forum about the gas tanks, here is a good start:

I covered my gas door in some shiny silver vinyl film so it looks different from the rest of the car. Looks dope, man! Did the same thing on my Kia.

So we have a new member and he asked a question and the first two replies were of no help, but a good way to drive him away. I had a real good idea what the OP was asking. He was looking to see if anyone has installed one of those filler caps that take the place of the standard cap and door. Not sure they are even available for a C6, but no reason to put him down.

Since he mentioned racing, I am pretty sure he is asking about a quick fill set up (no door over the gas cap).
Just because you don't understand the question does not make it dumb.

I am with BWF07 here. If you don't like a question, just don't reply.

OP, I have not seen a set up for the C6. I did a quick Google search and nothing came up. Good luck.

More like a dumb response. It's a valid question for someone who plans on racing their car.

Well, I didn't think my response was a bit sarcastic or rude.

I just had never even heard of it before ... and I was just asking the OP what it was, since he was the one that must know something about it in the first place ... hence his question.

Sorry if I hurt anyone feelings here in this new era that we are now in ... that one of having to be so damned careful in that we don't make the millennials cry.

They must have something on the C6R since they do lots of refueling in endurance races. Of course, they don't use stock fuel tanks on those either.

And I apologize, it seemed that the first two replies did not help and I took yours to be somewhat like the following reply. Again sorry.

Actually their fueling is a special setup that allows for the push in filler. I believe the OP is looking for a flip open cap that takes up the original gas door and cap. I remember seeing them on some C3's.

People can blame millennials all they want but its the parents that raised them to be that way. Food for thought.
