South Florida dyno tuners?
Hi forum,
Any recommendations for an experienced, good and reasonable speedshop/tuner in South Florida? I'm not opposed to mail in tunes, but I think I'd rather have a dyno tune due to the amount of mods, including a cold air K&N intake, mild .585/.585/228/230 cam, LS6 intake manifold, LT headers, off-road X-Pipes, and larger 42#injectors.

I’ll have them considered. I’ve heard good things about Jeremy. Ideally I’d like to go somewhere in Miami so I don’t have to trailer it.

I’m sorry, but I really don’t know what shops get for things like that. Best to give him a call.

Looks like HP sales no longer does anything other than sell cars. Redline is 100% still in business. I would recommend them based on my buddies ls3 416 whipple that they did. The car was the absolute worst case possible going in, heads stolen off the car,lsa stolen, missing gas pedal assembly, everything open in the elements. You would never know the car was in pieces at one point

I've made contact with a local tuner in Miami named Edgar, goes by the alias dsmlights on Instagram. Gonna try to book with him first, if not I'll go to Redline. He also comes recommended by a few.

LOL. Yea not a fan of his alias but don't judge a book by it's cover they say. I went with him due to solid local recommendations and I'm very pleased. He's a pro undoubtedly and has been tuning for 15 years he said. I got 397WHP on Dynojet. Pulls hard, clean and even throughout the powerband and makes power all the way between 6500-6700, hence my tuner decided to put my rev limiter at 7000 and recommended me to shift between 6700-6800. He did a total of 4 pulls, and also did idle tuning, neutral load tuning through the RPM sweep, fan temp resets, and street drivability among other tuning details. For those in Miami that don't want to go too far north, he's a good option and I recommend him. He was just a little hard to reach sometimes, but we got it done.

yeah I too was a good customer of his supercharging my first c5 automatic with him and cam and then buying my z06 from him too. he let me down when I was ready to take him my z06 to have my supercharger installed in it and he just blew me away. closed his doors on me after spending so many thousands in his shop. kinda soured the whole car thing for me. still have my z06 and after lashway motorsports install and tune nailed down 699 rwhp on mustang dyno.

I just meet with Cory at Protek the other day. He does the work on cars, but schedules the dyno tuning with 2 different local guys depending on who is available that he knows. Redline Performance in Pompano Beach also does tuning. You can reach out to him (Cory) for details.
