Hi. 2017 C7. Recently drove the car in the rain for the first time. I'm in Southern California and it never rains. I noticed that after driving it using the "Weather" setting, when I got back in the car and started it, it changes to "Track" every time. Imagine, its pouring and after driving for more than 15 minutes in the rain, I realize the car is in Track! I have tested this, set it to Weather come back, park it. Start it again, its on Track.

Is this normal?

It would be normal for it to go to (T) Tour mode not (Tr) Track mode after that.

Interesting, so is this the only mode that does not stay set? Others I've used stay set next time you use the car.

No, when you use Track (Tr) mode, it will default back to Touring (T) mode when you restart it. If in either Sport mode orTouring modes, it will stay the same on restart.

PTM Wet is my favourite setting in the rain. Far better than Weather.

All modes other than Sport default to Tour when starting the car. It makes sense as a safety precaution when you think about it.

Even Sport will appear to default to Tour upon shutdown (even though it doesn't--it will start up in Sport mode).
