Why is production on the 2019 ZR1 so slow.

Probably because some parts are on constraint. Like those CF pieces?

What do you mean by slow ? They only planned to build about 40 a week.

I think that is probably his question. Why? It's not like it is a hand-built car. If they have orders, seems they would want to churn those out and get the cash...

With 'just in time' manufacturing these days (not warehousing a lot of parts) it could be the different contractors deliver only so many parts at a time.

I agree with Deb. They can't make them faster than their vendor supply line allows.

Patience grasshopper . Or I'm sure your dealer would be glad to cut you a great deal on a Z06/Z07.

True. Is that the reason that they are coming out slowly? A physical limitation of parts?

The carbon parts are a big limitation. They're difficult to build in mass quantities while still maintaining the surface appearance GM wants.

Maybe you got something there, I do see more Shadow Grays being delivered.

Confirmed by GM's reluctance to sell those carbon parts outright.

Lol, no problem. Grabbed as many as we could get. Most we grabbed were the GM Exec cars with exception of a couple

nice stable you have there!

since these are barely used, maybe post the stickers?

knowing the exact option configuration is very useful/important for the corvette crowd.
