What's the biggest tire a 18x10 front on a c5z will take without rubbing?
Ordering a set of Forgeline F14 and I'm being told a 295 will rub on a 18x10. Can anyone validate this? Quote below:
"10 is to big for the front a 295 will rubb and recommended is a 9.5"

I know someone running a 295/30/19 (26" tall) on a 19x10 wheel, on the front of his lowered 2003 C5Z, without any clearance issues. A 295/30/18 is only 25" tall so it should clear, easily. A 295/35/18 is 26.1" tall.
My 2002 C5Z has 19x10's, with 275/30/19's (25.6" tall), on the front and there are no clearance issues. My car is really low, also.
Some guys are running 18x10.5's and 315/30/18's, at all four corners, for autocross.
Just curious but any reason why you want such a big front tire?
