Can you believe these old Corvettes haven’t seen the light of day in decades?

It never fails to amaze that people wont even through a cheap car cover on these vehicles, you see it all the time with the "barn" finds

It is sort of fun to see those dusty cars. You ponder their existence and their story. But, pretty soon, after a minute or two of "pondering" you impatiently want someone to get the friggin stupid dust off (whose idiotic idea not to toss at least a thin old rag sheet over a stored Corvette - gimme a break) and spiff them up as deserved for a show where it can be admired in its intended element, as designed.

3 of the "restored" cars were at the NY auto show. The alleged winner could not afford the taxes.
There are still a few at the shop that is restoring them , as is the VW.

Unfortunately, Peter Max is suffering from Dementia: https://www.nytimes.com/2019/05/28/b...-auctions.html
Car & Drive had a good article on the Peter Max Corvette collection when it was removed from storage:
https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a1...age-purgatory/
The Corvette collection that he used to own is now being recondition at Dream Car Restorations in Hicksville, NY. Here is an article on it.

Still no mention of when this auction will occur.

Does 'Curated' mean DECADES OLD????
Isn't this the Peter Max collection....AGAIN, and again and again.
Please raise your hand if you haven't seen this before.
