Default Ron Fellows Driving School

Just took delivery of Torch Red 2019 Z06. Honestly I probably will never have it on the track so may never realize it’s full potential. That being said should I or shouldn’t I do the Ron Fellows Driving School??!! I’ve watched all the You Tube videos which really has my interest peaked. Help me out guys....help me decide

Absolutely If you have any interest in understanding your car's potential, as well as your potential, you owe it to yourself. Couple that with this being one of the few times someone else will subsidize your fun and you can't lose. Staff and facilities are top notch!!! I wasn't thinking about tracking my car when I bought it, but now it is becoming more of a possibility.

It's fun and a safe place to drive fast and gain a few skilz all on someone else's tires. Plus the peoples are nice and the food is good. I high;y caution against going to class hungover.

You should do it. Just be prepared DR that there is no cure for being addicted to the track. Be prepared to spend a lot of money on brakes, tires and track fees. That’s how my addiction started. Innocently went to Ron Fellows owners class. My wife was there and after my first track session she saw my face and said “this is going to be a problem isn’t it”. YUP

I never tracked a car before I went to the school. Hands down the most fun I've ever had. Ripping it around the course in 115° heat and having the car just keep on pushing with so much grip around every turn and the carbon ceramic brakes biting hard all day was so much fun! I want to get on the track again but haven't had the time since I went to the school in July.

Smart move, my wife and I both took the course! A lot of fun, and the bonus is that you learn a lot. Enjoy!

No brainer. Bucket list experience. I’ve gone once already, and I’m returning late Feb for COS #2. Can’t wait.

Just a curious question. I just bought my C7 Z06 traded my c5 Z06 in. I have not looked into this yet. But the track is close to Las Vegas correct. What are guys doing as far as staying in Vegas and then you have a one day driving course. Just was checking to see what plans are. Thanks !!

I am going in early February...it’s the bargain of all time. $1000 would not buy the tires you will wear out.

Absolutely go. I just finished the class. It is a class outfit and the instructors are top notch. They will teach you how to drive on a track but also, techniques useful on the street. One of the best experiences in my life related to cars.

DEFINITELY GO!!! It will be the best $1,000 you've ever spent on yourself. I recently went for my second time and I'm looking to schedule again for summer 2019. Book ahead to get in a condo right at the track, do 2 nights (they run specials in the summer months that give you the second night), you want to be there the day before class, they start at 8AM most of the year, but 7AM in the summer months, don't be afraid of the heat in the summer, you run on track with windows up and A/C on, and all classrooms are A/C. Book early to be sure you get to drive what you bought (I have a ZO6/ZO7 manual, the ZO6's and Grand Sports book up quickly and if memory serves me correctly they have more automatics than manuals. Any more you might need to know drop me a note, but definitely go online or call Spring Mountain.

I’m in town for business when I go again in late February, so I’ll already be staying in Vegas. It’s a two day class with one night stay after the 1st day included. I have opted to pay extra for a 2nd night before the first day so I can get a good nights rest before day one. Having said that it’s an easy 1 hour drive from Vegas. You have up until ONE YEAR after the purchase date to make arrangements to go. I’m on my 3rd C7 and missed the window to go after my 2014 Stingray. I did my first class in an A8 Z06, and the time I’ll be in a M7 Z06. Sincerely, can’t wait!
