Whats up Corvette forum, just on here to say DO NOT buy anything from "rambortech" on here. I send money out for headers/x pipe after posting a WTB ad, and he ended up scamming me and not sending me any item, saying that i paid for a service not an item which is not true. Unfortunetly i got scammed but im on here to make a post so no one else gets scammed out of there money.

yes i did, i have to wait 10 days. Just sucks when you work hard for your money and people are out there to take advantage of other people and the forums.

No one has ever posted with that name.

Maybe you have spelled it wrong.

I tried variations of the name too and no forum member. The scammers troll the WTB ads, suck you in with a low low price, and people fall for it all the time. You need to do a little due diligence and check out their time on the forum, their history if any of selling on here. If it is a brand new member it is probably a scam.

Do yourself a favor and don't try to save a few bucks and buy from an established business. I wouldn't buy anything from a stranger unless it was in person

I contacted the guy asking if hed shipped it out since he said he'd ship it out the next day, thats when he proceeded to tell me that he is not shipping any items out, and there isnt any headers. And that i paid for a "service" and theres no proof ect

Did you send him payment via paypal for goods, did you list for Headers shipped anywhere on the notes? I would call Paypal for a resolve, I would also contact your credit card co if you used to fund paypal.
If he messaged you saying you paid for a service did he do it through paypal?

yes i went through paypal and put "headers for c6 z06 corvette". And i called my bank and paypal, and paypal is currently invetigating this and put the money on hold. Also no he messaged me via email after i contacted him through the email provided from paypal

You should be good to get your money back from paypal then. I have never had an issue getting it back.

If you made payment thru PayPal as you've stated & have filed a dispute with them, they will contact the vendor & if the issue is not resolved satisfactorily, your payment will be refunded. "PayPal is your pal!"

You should get your money back, Paypal is a reputable organization, stick with an established member or vendor

And for those who don't use paypal, be advised. I have used a company called Escrow.com. If you're Buying you send the money to them. If you're Selling, you send the item to the Buyer showing proof of sending to Escrow.com. If the Buyer gets it and it's in the as-described condition all is well and the Seller gets paid. If not, the item gets returned and Buyer gets money back less fee. Fee is very reasonable.

Just an FYI, not shilling for Escrow.com.
