2018 Dodge Demon to 2019 Corvette ZR1
Has anyone made the switch? I currently have a Demon awesome car but I have an oppturnity to get 19 ZR1. I just wanted to hear some feed back. It would be my 1st Vette.

might have to change that. lol
The car is more of a weekend driver. Cruise, and enjoy it. Enjoy some open road, cars and coffee ect. I’ve been to the drag strip in the Demon a few times. It’s fun. Never been on a race track. I would plan for sure to make that happen one day with the vette.

Love the plate!! make sure you keep it for your switch. Welcome to the forum.

Keep them both. Very different markets but you already know that.
If not practical to keep both, make the switch to the ZR1, especially if you seek a manual transmission.
Just be careful on inclines and speed bumps to not damage the ZR1 splitter.

Highly recommend it! Although, I have a lot of respect for Dodge from the Viper to the Demon, pushing the envelop; however, the ZR1 feels like a super car at the price of a sports car-ish

I’m going to get murdered for this but if you only weekend cruise mostly with the car then the Demon might be the better choice. If you carve canyons and enjoy brisk runs pushing the car some and plan to head to racetrack(as mentioned) then I would say make the switch.
Pits not that the vette can’t be a comfortable weekend cruiser, it’s just not taking advantage of all the ZR1 has to offer regarding the driving experience.

Do you need to get rid of the Demon to get the ZR1? If not, keep the Demon and get the ZR1 too. Of course we are all partial to our Corvettes, but you have to drive them both and make your decision. The Corvette community is a great place to hang out and make new friends. Welcome to the Forum.

Brooks, I hope you understood, going into this, that this Forum will be biased. But having a chance to get a ZR1 would be truly special.

Noticed you don't have the factory tires on the Demon. Did yo wear them out or decide to go with a street tire? Don't have a Demon or a ZR1, but do have a Challenger Hellcat and a C7 Grand Sport. Very different cars and each is enjoyable for different reasons. Keep the Demon or go with the ZR1, in either case you will enjoy the ride for what it is.
