Thanks guys. I had an absolute blast that weekend. We had the entire race track to ourselves both days! How could you not try some crazy stuff?

You lost control most of the time because you let off throttle before you should have

Yup, stay in it! Now you need to get some power or more speed behind it so you arent having to abuse your driveline like that.
Looks like fun..

I thought you posted that before. That was "jimbo's" car.

Wow. That is some extremely poor driving.

At least you're out there.

That was my last trip out to Inde. Where I took the 4c from the valet in the airport. This time we flew in.
Also, last time I was just doing donuts on the skid pad, this time I tried to do it on a road course.
This time I had my c7 and my Noble out there too.

That's cute. What tracks do you frequent? I would love to compare times. I am definately a grip guy. First time trying to do something like this with no instruction.

I definately need to stay in the throttle longer as people have mentioned. I had never even tried to drift on purpose before.

IMR. Inde Motorsports Ranch. It is one of those private country club race tracks. It is in Arizona.

He is actually an autocross guy from my readings.

Anyway, trying a controlled drift is actually a lot harder than people would think, especially in something like a C4. Once they snap they tend to keep going until they come around. That one by the wall was absolutely terrifying though and I have no clue how you didn't put it into it. I've only had mine sideways once and it went the opposite way it even should have. My truck on the other hand is very fun in the rain.

It happens all the time. Just never on purpose

It was super fun though. Will definitely do a drift school or two this year.

Looked where I wanted the car to go... But pure luck I didn't hit the wall.

Miller...excuse me, Utah Motorsports Campus, primarily. What's your fast lap there?

Being more serious now, you should take that C4 to an Auto-x event. If you want to learn how to hang it out, that is a fantastic place/way to start. Yes, some will turn their noses up at you...but it is a blast, no consequences, good way to learn drift control.

I found it to be way harder than I thought it was going to be. Maybe because in second third gear it was so easy to let it grip up.

wwaayyy easier in a parking lot =)

Will probably do some auto-x this year. But it will be in my c7 and/or Noble =p

That track looks sick, but I have never been.
