Default Rvzio new 71 restore

Went to Alabama this week and picked up another 71 project. Met Dennis finally after many conversations and look forward to doing this car in or about the same time frame as the War Bonnet Yellow 71. Car looks real nice as far as having everything. The shop is full for sure but I just could not pass this car up. Plenty of body work but all doable. May need an open line to Dub but this Steel City Gray car should look really nice when completed.
So I was not sure if I should make a separate thread and I don't know if anyone really gives a hoot. Just thought you may want to see some pictures before I start.
Thank You
Oh, the pup is Bruno, smile for the camera

Thanks Chuck, the car is pretty straight. Door gaps look real good considering the few that I have had to fix. Should look pretty in this color.

I was thinking the piece between headlights cracked right down the middle. you have an intact nose from the coupe / convertible project correct? Cuz you can flip it upside down and Fab a new lower valance pull a mold right off that piece.

Nice car actually! Better to buy it in this stat than other car that looks nice but when you start doing something it comes out as not so nice car.

So I was able to get the car in the air this afternoon and the frame looks great. I see no rusted out ares yet. Took off the front bumper and things and man it is a mess. Now I know I have a few options, one of which is to graft int the top piece I have or just start methodically going to each area and fixing them one by one. I have also decided to remove the body also, so here we go. The difference is I have done this before and I have a great shop ready to go so I think things will move right along.

Is it just me or do C3s bring out the worst in bodymen?
Suprised you didn't find caulk, an old sock and an old license plate...
