Default Front tire recommendations

just seeing what you guys have used and would recommend, cars not a daily, use is weekends and vette weather.....some Mexico rolls, NTO5R’s in the rear so I’ve been looking at the NTO5 and a few other Nitto’s so they match but I could go another route if there’s a better options. I’d say a good price and quality combo is what I’m looking for.

Thanks fellas🇺🇸

At your power level, those NT05Rs are going to be outmatched. If you stick with them, I would use either NT05 or MPSS up front. Even better, I would go down to a 17" rear setup with some M&H.

I have 18 inch wheels front and rear with MT ET Street SS 345/35/18 and they do ok at my power level. I run MT Street Comps up front 275/40/18. I'm considering going to 17" rears as well.

yeah man that’s the plan for the rear, my NTO5R’s are basically brand new I haven’t even properly heated them up yet, 17’s or 18’s are in the future my front tires are what came on the car, still the crappy eagle runflats so they need to go.

Did you have the camber in the front and rear zero’d out or set up neutral? I tried when I got the front aligned but nobody would do it, kept saying they could only do factory specs

Those are not factory specs. I was using the PFADT street specs for a while until I went to 0 camber in the rear to assist with traction.

Got it, now I just have to find a place that will zero it out, I’m 0 for 3 so far....

I replaced my front wheels with 19" ZR1 wheels. Put on Michelin 285/30-19" PSS works out really well.

Too big for me man, that just makes tires more expensive and cuts down the selection, but I’d image our vettes are set up completely different on every aspect.
