You stated this is a wrap... is it a semi permanent wrap material that covers and sticks on to the outside of the front windshield???

Is it pre-cut for a C6??
Or pre-cut for a C7??
Or does it have to be cut to fit??

Is it a see through material made to be left installed on the windshield??

Or is this a removable interior sunshade that you place in the inside the car on the inside of the windshield when the car is parked?

Please explain...

I too am very confused as to what this is for. Ostensibly it looks like a sunshade. Maybe he's showing it on the outside to give a better view of it? But then he calls it a wrap so no idea. OP - can you give some more details as to what this is and its purpose? It certainly looks cool.

@KGrant with the lmgtfy Still don't really get it. I guess it's a sunshade, but why would you want it on the outside?? Unless it's like a frost shield instead of a sunshade? Seems plausible, yet unlikely and impractical. Still waiting on that OP reply, since he's the one that wants to sell it.

Either way the stupidity of such a product ( & the people that buy them) is enough to make me unsubscribe from this lame thread!

Actually, having a sun shade mounted outside the windshield on some occasions is not a bad idea. It keeps the heat from the sun's rays outside the vehicle. Normal sunshades are inside and still a lot of heat is generated inside the car as the rays from the sun go thru the windshield.

I agree, its not for everyone. If you don't like it, that's your choice.

On TV, I saw race teams use something like that to keep the cabin cool and protect the windshield. I can see it useful in a paddock - easy on and easy off.

Goathead is 100% correct. These shades are used at the track, to keep the cabin cooler between races or heats. Which is also why it is a Jake logo (racing) Easy on, easy off.
When you have your helmet, gloves, suit and gear on, try tangling with an interior folding sun shade !!!!!!!!!!! LOL

Yes sir. Fumbling with a folding window shade and keeping a $100,000+ race car cool between races is MOST certainly a 3rd world problem ! I love the USA !!!!!!!!!
