My dealer - Mike Reichenbach
I don't usually shout out the store or shop but today I want to give a rec on my "coastal empire" So Carolina dealer Mike Reichenbach Chevrolet near Hilton Head. I go there because I've had several poor experiences with the dealer closer to me.
I had three things to service on this trip. The regular first free oil change for my 2017 GS ( I had done the 500 and paid for a change last March when I planned a track day) ; the transmission shudder TSB and a re-flash of the MRC because it was done with the wrong codes the first time back in March.
I've seen posts saying that some dealers had been reluctant to put 0w-40 Mobil 1 in cars produced in the 2017 and prior model years. Not MRC. I asked them to put in 9 quarts and give me the 10th to finish at home. Got the real deal. No questions asked.
They did the TSB and MRC re-flash as well. They also pulled out my K&N air filter and put back in the OEM. I'm going to clean and put the K&N back in this weekend. I didn't want to ask them to do the clean and re-oil as it takes time for the clean filter to dry before oiling. The YouTube DIY air filter replacement video makes it look easy enough for me to do.
Cost to me for all this? Zero.
So, If you are within 100 miles of Hilton Head trust this dealer to give you a good sales and service experience. Worth the trip.

Sounds like you have a very good dealership to work with when it comes to your car.

It's always good to hear about a positive visit to a dealer.
