Someone just paid 25k for an 07 convertible. 7000 mi.

Proof mass produced cars aren't investments and why I buy them to drive them.. Cost the owner $4 per mile discounting inflation and it's considered "good" resale.

But I'm glad some folks are preserving garage queens so I can buy them heavily discounted.

But then he pays 10% buyers fee and 10% sellers fee. Cost him $5k.

I believe it's 10% from each party.

But at least he wouldn't give his car away from some lowball bid.

Insane prices on restomod Corvettes on Saturday. Several for over $200K and a couple over $300 and one for $400K.

LOL.....The ol notion of high mileage doesn't matter is just like the notion of size doesn't matter. Size does matter....and so does mileage........

Seemed like an endless supply of resto-moded C2 rolling up on the block. Selling for more $$ than original cars of the same vintage.

If I had a C2 that I wanted to drive, it would have a LS3 and M6 or A6 behind it.

If you were the seller AND the buyer you would pay both fees in addition to consignment fee and your transport to, and in this model, from the auction.

A friend sold the 67 that went for $300,000.00 on Friday evening. IIRC he said seller’s fee was 8 percent. Buyer pays 10 percent.

So hypothetically speaking....if you are considering one of two C-6's for purchase. Both are identical 2010 models..........one with 80-K miles on it for 25-grand.......the other has 15-K miles on it and it goes for 27-grand. Which one you gonna buy ?...........
