Only in silver at this time. I could refer you to a company that does DLA coating if you like. They do our carbon black lug nuts.

Wouldnt a company like Pro Bolt have them in different colors? I know they have multi colored kits for many applications.

They'll fit on LS9 heads, but they might interfere with the LS9's alternator or power steering. I know our cast aluminum ones interfere, but these are a little lower profile. We've never mocked it up.

If you ever get them mocked up and they fit, let me know and I'll snag a pair.

Clearly 1-2 seconds just based on the looks alone.

No interest in bringing these back? Tons of people on Facebook have been on the search for them and have been interested in a possible group buy.

Just curious, what is the advantage of having carbon fiber valve covers, other than a little weight savings? The FRC covers up the valve covers so you can't even see them, unless you aren't using the FRC and have a custom set up.

I personally like them for aesthetics. Also I indeed parted ways with the fuel rail cover look during my current round of mods. Ran them for a very long time but want a different look now.

We have no interest in bringing them back. Currently, Performance Design sells them and they are in stock.

Have yall thought about coating the inside of the valve covers to seal them up from soaking up the oil?. Thats the main issue I had with the 1st gen valve covers.

I had these and they were AWFUL. I had the ones with the coil mounts. The entire bottom of the covers are made of carbon reinforced plastic--only the top are carbon fiber. The valve cover vents are an unbelievable 1/8" NPT with cheap black nylon barbed fittings under the guise of "weight savings"🤦🏻‍♂️ They were very difficult to align properly, very difficult to bolt down and used a non standard fill cap thread. They were such a PITA to work on the engine with that I sold them at a HUGE loss and went to LSA/LS9 covers THEN to LS3 covers that used the coil bracket as they are the most functional and easiest to service. I couldn't believe the base of the covers were made kf plastic, I never would have bought them. The bolts were were grade 5 titanium are were very nice.
