Default Vendor recommendations

I need to buy a right headlight motor. Any vendor recommendations please?

Dont take offence.. Are you sure its the motor? not the gear. those motors rarely go bad, they are tested for 80,000 cycles. but if you are sure its the Motor Marc from Vettenuts can provide a guaranteed used one.

Thanks for your reply. Tony at Tony's Corvette diagnosed it but I had to move before I could get it fixed. I live in a small rural town now in Southern Virginia and found someone through referrals that works on corvettes.

If you want new, try Cultrag Performance - I have used them for parts and have been very pleased. If you don;'t mind getting a used one, any of the forum's used parts vendors can probably set you up with a good one.

The gears are a weak link in the C5 headlight. Much cheaper to replace the gear than the whole motor.

I spoke to Mark at Vettenuts today. Ordered the part and he will also rebuild with the brass gears. Thanks again for your reply. Tom
