Michelin PS A/S 3 Plus -Tire Rack Rating
This is what tire rack rated MICHELIN PILOT SPORT A/S 3+
- What We Liked: Sharp steering response, best-in-test dry performance and impressive wet and light snow traction.
- What We'd Improve: “FIRM RIDE BOARDERS ON HARSH”
- Conclusion: Performs at a high level everywhere, with an emphasis on "sport."

If I were you get rid of the summer tires now, I took off a almost new set of my Z & got the All Seasons so I could drive my Z in the cold year round, I have not regretted the move. I sold my MPSS to a track rat & he was glad to have them.

My PSS are like new on the original wheels sitting in the corner of the garage.
The next owner of my car will be very happy to see new tires. Ancient date code, but new tires.

With my Z06, I want a bit extra traction (and occasional track duties 2-3x/year) in the summer so I bought forged wheels with my MPSS for the summer and had the A/S 3+ mounted on my stock wheels for the "winter" in the Seattle area. Best of both worlds for me. But I've known several others who dumped the MPSS in favor of the all-season tires and have never regretted it.
Cheers!

I went with Bridgestone AS's in Z51 size on SM7 wheels, because there were no other choices at the time. As for non runflat? Slime, a small compressor and AAA... Both of which will do the job...lol

With an "ancient date code" those are anything but "like new". And the new owner will not be "happy" in fact he will be pissed if don't tell him that they are dangerous to drive on.

I'm having a bit of a dilemma on tires for my '17 GS. I've been replacing run flat OEM tires with Michelin non run flats on every Corvette since '99. I recently acquired my '17 with 14k on it and figured that it wouldn't be long before I'd have the opportunity to replace the crappy OEM run flats. Unfortunately, the selection of available tires in the correct sizes for this car suck. I'm seeing mixed reviews and would like to know before I drop $1600+ on new tires that I'm getting a set that is an actual improvement over the ones on the car now. The only thing I don't like about this GS is the ride. I'm interested in any input and since I still have some miles left on the old tires, I'll keep watching what everyone says.
