Transparent roof headliner
Does anyone know of a headliner for the transparent roof that fits tightly around the seam of the rooftop with no gaps for light to come in? I purchased the one from RPI designs and it did not fit well at all around the edges. it has pretty big gaps around all the sides. After contacting a couple vendors on eBay I found out that many of them get theirs from RPI as well. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

I also bought one for the transparent top. There is a very small gap on the edges but it sure does keep the summer heat down

I think they are worth the money. I think I paid $99.

Paid $99 for mine too on Amazon. You have to place it just right to balance out the gap around the edges. It s a pain because once it placed, it hard to adjust with all those suction cups. You need to get it right first time.

I guess I’ll start the game & ask, why the heck I’ve seen so many of these posts of folks who buy a clear top & then want to cover it to stop light/heat from entering. I have to “ASSUME” they just cover it in Summer & remove the inside cover in Winter. Inquiring minds want to know. Thanks

Lesson to all: Remember to keep those latches latched when replacing the panel after a nice topless drive... because you will forget to check the latches before your next day's ride !

I bought the car used.
I was going to have the clear top wrapped and permanently affix the headliner to it, then decided the next owner might not like it that way.
I hate having sunlight beating down on me anywhere while I am driving. I would rather have the windows up and the AC on with the cabin as dark as possible.

I'm looking for one with no gaps. I've seen pictures of some where the lip of the headliner squeezes right up to the targa edges. Plus every vendor I messaged on eBay said they get there's from RPI as well. Which I already tried

I tried and returned the RPI one also for the same gap problem. Very distracting and did not look OEM. When you try the one from Amazon please let us now what you think. I'd be interested if it completely covers.

Sounds to me they changed the manufacturing template. I have had mine for about a year and it covers edge to edge. Side to side and front to back.
