Corsa Sport (per bill’s correction). Really happy with the look and sound. Absolutely no drone.

When I was 17 years old I purchased Thrush muffler for my big block Charger. When I was 18 I bought Cherry Bombs for my 1967 Pontiac. Now I am an adult and don't need a louder exhaust to draw attention to myself and annoy my neighbors. My 2002 Vert sounds good out of the factory and since I don't spend time at the track any more I don't have a desire for this type of 'upgrade"?

Thanks Daryl for your positive feedback. Much appreciated. I had my stock exhaust for almost 19 years and was very happy as you are now. Just recently decided to switch to improve appearance and give the car a sportier sound. Wasn’t looking to “draw attention” as you mentioned. Im also an “adult.” I’m very happy with it. To each their own though, right!? I’ve been on this forum a long time. Tough crowd though recently!

Exhaust noise is to the beholder. Before my 04 C5 Vert, I had a 72 with factory side pipes. Man, were they loud. I woke up the neighborhood when I drove it. Fast life forward to now that have a very low noise Magaflow system in my C5. Love to cruise without the noise. Times changes as we grow older.

Getting my Corsa sport with x-pipe this Monday. Had the touring on my other C-5 but didn't make much of a difference until ECS installed a set of long tube headers on it. Only doing x-pipe back so I wanted to step it up to the sport. Took me a while to decide between the extreme and sport.

I’m still trying to wrap my head around the fact the ya’ll think a Corsa Sport system on a stock car is loud. You would think I did long tubes, a cam, and b&b bullets.

Keep doing you and ignore the noise (pun intended). Individual tastes vary so it shouldnt matter to anyone else what you like, or don't like. I enjoy reading posts like yours, where you modify your car to your personal tastes and you share your happy results. Enjoy your sweet ride!

Instead of responding negatively to you guys, I’ll rise above. I’m happy with the mod. I’m happy with the look. I’m happy with the sound. I shared the pic accordingly. If it’s not for you, I respect that, and I respect that ya’ll want quieter exhaust as you age. Tastes are subjective. Cheers, mates.

Congrats on the Corsa Sports. After 19 years it probably makes your car new to you again. It really looks nice. Enjoy the added sound and bling.
When I was 17 I installed Cherry Bombs on my '67 390 Ford and when I was 18 I installed Thrush mufflers on my '74 Corvette and then a few years later I added Hooker headers. Now I'm 59 and have Kooks long tube headers and Magnaflow exhaust on my Corvette which I installed years ago. I guess some people never change. But in all honesty, it's not to draw attention, I really enjoy the sound, always did. If I wanted attention then I would have Bullets, Stingers or Loud Mouths. Stock exhaust sounds fine, just that the tips and mufflers look weak for a Corvette imho, not bad just not to my liking. At least with the C6 and C7 the standard tips looked the part but many opted for the Dual Mode system with even nicer tips and more sound. I noticed that 2 of my neighbors with the dual mode optional exhaust on their stock C6 and stock C7 sound louder than my car with Magnaflow and LT headers but not nearly as deep as mine.

Clique? I have no association with anyone on this forum. if anything I am of the Black Sheep Squadron lol.
Daaryl goes against pretty much everything I enjoy in the automotive world. He likes bone stock cars. eh whatever. Or maybe he's into the spray paint cans and covers on top of covers mods? I don't know.
