Leftover 2017 Z

Options are irrelevant at this point. Look at low mileage 2017's and us that as your benchmark. If you buy it, at the end of this year it will just be another low mileage 2017. Nothing special. My guess is 30% OFF MSRP should put you in the right zip code.

that sounds about right for the cars loaded up with a lots of worthless options with stickers in excess of 100k . Those have high margin. For a low optioned 1lz or 2lz maybe 22 percent for a 80 to 88 sticker car and 25 percent for a 90 to 95k sticker

I bought a new on the dealer lot high option 2017 Z06 about a year ago for 18 percent off sticker and got a good value on my trade in. So yes, about 30 percent off sounds about right.

you can get an 18 which is a limited production run year, and a couple upgrades i think over the 17's, and the 18 you can get zero percent on and over 15 grand off.
The zero percent equates to at least 6 grand in itself. So, to put me into a 17 model year, you'd better be at 25 grand off, otherwise im going with an 18.

my offer would be 73 grand firm. And tell them you are buying a 18 with zero percent otherwise from the other dealer with 15 grand off, saving 6 grand in interest at least, and also getting a newer model year, which is worth another 5 grand to you as that is what you will lose when you go to resell an older model year.
Plus that 17 has been sitting.

73k is a good deal
Make the deal conditional on a new installed battery and oil change right off the bat. If it’s new untitled and leftover you have 36 months of bumper 2 bumper warranty. Do a careful inspection of the paint and make sure they address any baked in water spots or bird **** stains

I’d shoot for 73k give or take a bit. I honestly wouldn’t blink and pay 75k out the door. Looks like a great build.

Recently purchased a new/leftover 2018 3LZ for 22+% off... MSRP was just over $102k, purchased for $79k and they threw in a set of Z06 chrome wheels (long story but I sold them for a good price), C7 battery tender, Z06 logo car cover and tinted windows.

Any issues with it sitting 2 years? TIA.

It had 135 miles on it and the only thing I've had fixed is the dash pad above the DIC delaminated. Other than that, it's been perfect.
It's had kind of a weird life though; was originally purchased by a dealer in Roswell, NM. They made the changes to the wheels and the tinting. Then a dealer in the SF Bay Area wanted to get into the Corvette business so they started buying vettes from dealers around the country so that they could establish a selling history.
Car never sold and I encountered it in my search at least two month prior to making the purchase. Tried to get some info on it and it always seemed that the corvette guy was sick or somehow unavailable. Actually got through to someone who as it turned out was at a sister dealership. Ended up buying through the corvette guy at the other dealership. A lot of games going on in this business.

Sounds like a fair deal to me.

Hi all. I am wondering the same thing as you. I had a 2009 C6 with 27k miles on it and lost it last week to a devasting fire in my apartment building complex. The entire building has been destroyed and we lost mostly everything in our apt from severe water damage. My corvette was in the garage which got flooded with 10 feet of water. We are all very lucky nobody was hurt or worse with this (see below link). I bought my car brand new and intended on keeping it forever so needless to say I’m beyond bummed out about losing it. Getting a new vette isn’t top priority right now but a friend of mine surprised me be emailing a dealer on my behalf for a leftover new 2017 Z msrp 108k that they would sell for 82k. Seems like most people think these should be sold for 30% off so would appreciate everyone’s feedback. Glad I have the corvette forum to turn to for help. Thank you.

I mean, out of curiosity, what rate are you going to get through the bank on the USED 17 (its no longer a new car through GM financing, so it gets higher rates through third party banks) THat rate can be 6 to 12 grand or more in finance charge, that gets divided up among the payments. The zero percent means a lot.

I bought a 2015 Z for @19k off sticker in April of 2016. Chevy had a 15% off '15 year models special and the dealer was looking to move it and gave me about 5k more off as well. The MSRP was 95k and I paid 76 which I thought was a great deal on a year old but still new Z. It only had 20 something miles on it when I drove it off the lot.

QUOTE=CWA318;1599056485]What should one expect see discount wise on a leftover 2017 Z06? A fairly high optioned model for the record.[/QUOTE]
Got about 20% off last Sept on my 3LZ 2017 that listed for $92+. It had mostly what I wanted on it. If this is the car you want and you can afford it, don't waste time just grab it.
