Looking for quality Z06 reproduction wheels for my '19 GS
Hey All,
Spring is around the corner which means I'll finally get to drive my new GS that's been sitting in my garage since taking delivery last November.
I like the look of the stock black GS wheels, but I really dig the stock black Z06 wheels. Also, it sounds like the OEM GS and Z06 wheels are prone to bending/cracking, and being the pessimist, I'm fully expecting to bend one of my wheels within the first 10 miles
I'm looking for answers to the following:
*Need a recommendation on a vendor that sells quality repro Z06 wheels(black) for a 19' GS, that will stand by the wheels with warranty if required
*Anyone know if the repro wheels have the same bending/cracking issues as the OEM wheels?
I'm not interested in different designs. I think GM did a great job with the C7 Z06 wheel design. Sounds like they just fubar'd the quality side of the equation.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

I’ve not heard of bending/cracking problems on the repo wheels. Check with a vendor like House of Wheels for reproduction wheels.

I don't think you need repros in order to be able to fit on the GS. the Z06 and GransSport share the same body so you put OEM z06 wheels on. You might even find a pair of take offs for sale on the forum.

"You might even find a pair of take offs for sale on the forum" ^^ I would do the same, my Z06 wheels have been great, you just need to stay out of track mode on rough roads and bumpy race tracks and you should be fine. I would be careful though, there are fake Z06 wheels out there I am sure. Good Luck!

In regards to the OEM Z06 wheels... I've heard they have the same bending/cracking problems as the OEM GS wheels, which is why I was looking at the reproduction wheels...

You might want to look into ZR1 factory wheels. The are roll forged which is stronger than the cast GS and Z06 wheels. Look in the C7 For Sale section for vendors

Check out Signature Wheel, a Forum vendor. They have a monoblock forged wheel that looks like the stock ZO6 wheel. Bent 3 and crack 1 of the OEM wheels before 8000 miles. Now at 34000 and no further problems.
