Depends. If the passenger car engine had Corvette finned valve covers you are good to go 😂😂😂. (Yes)

Yes they are the same but the you can't run 4:11 gears in a 3 series posi unit. If you are just replacing other 4:11 or 4:56 you are good to go.

There were TWO versions of 56-62 ring pinions (55-64 for pass cars). They are not exactly interchangeable.
The 56 Corvette and 55-56 pass cars used exactly the same gear.
The 57-62 Corvettes and 57-64 pass cars used the same gears.

The difference between 55-6 gears are thinner/weaker than the 57-64 gears.
IF, IF, IF it is desired to install later 57-64 gears in a 56 Corvette rear, that can be done. BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT, you just cannot install a 57-64 ring and pinion into a 55-56 case. It is necessary to also install a 57-64 differential (posi or non-posi) into the 55-56 case.
BUT, even doing that is not the best idea, because the entire 55-56 center case, differential, gears are thinner and weaker than the 57-64 parts. If it is really desired to upgrade the rear of a 56 Corvette, it is better to swap in a complete 57-64 center section.

Here is a comparison between a 55-6 and 57-64 differential. It is clear to see the 57-64 is much beefier.

Here is a comparison between a 57-64 and 55-6(right) 3.70 ring gear. As can be seen, the 55-6 ring gear--------------same ratio-----------is a thinner gear.

And here is a comparison of a 55-6 case (with a posi unit installed) and a 57-64 case. Again, as can be seen, the 57-64 is noticeably beefier.

A complete, assembled center section(below) for a 56-62 Corvette or 55-64 pass car, is a 100% bolt-in swap into ANY 55-64 axle housing(below). They ALL have the same bolt pattern and they ALL use 17spline axles.

That appears to be a stamped 54 date on the ring gear and a 55 date on the pinion. Thus, I'd say they are the thinner 55-56 style gears.
The stamped teeth numbers are 9-37, making that a 4.11 ratio.
The ring gear was made Dec 54 and the pinion was made Jan 55, which fits. After the gears are made, then they go through a final machining process which mates them as a matched set.
"They" always say that you cannot combine a ring gear from one rearend to a pinion gear from another set (such as if a tooth was broken from a gear on one set), since all ring and pinion gears are machined as a matched set.
I don't know, I've never done that, so I can't say what would happen if a ring and pinion from different rears were mixed together.
If someone will try it, I'll listen.
