Default And the wait begins!

Just placed my order for a ELBM Stingray Z51 M7 2LT! I should probably tell my wife.

Thanks Patman for the advice on where to purchase here in the great white North 🇨🇦, both Jeff and Tracy were top shelf.

Congrats on your order. Hope the build goes smoothly and you get your car so you can do plenty of driving this summer.

Very nice choice. I was torn between that exact combo or a ELBM GS M7 2LT. Then I found a sweet deal on a Z06.

I can totally see myself trading in for an ELBM Vette at some point; it's the color I really wanted.

Hopefully they get it made and shipped soon; the wait is gonna kill ya (if the wife doesn't!).

Congratulations sir. Just get you a copy of Tom Petty's (may he RIP) "The waiting is the hardest part".

And, it's best to tell the wife now. That way at least one of your eyes will be healed enough to see that beauty when it arrives at the dealer.

Exiting times, you're going to love it. The wife will be ok after seeing it. Mine didn't fine out about mine until she heard me speaking with the Intercity driver.

It's better to have agreement with your legal partner on financial matters. Especially when spending that kind of jack. Good luck on breaking the new$!!

Kevin, I kinda hedged my bets on our Grand Sport. I had 2 picked out, one Elkhart Blue, and one Torch Red. Of course I couldn't decide, so either would be fine with me. So I showed her, and said "pick the one you like the best". It was all smooth sailing after that.

we both make our own way in this world and have never combined finances. She’ll be fine.

Great stuff!! You won't have to wait too long, the orders seem to be going through very quickly these days! You'll probably get it just at the time when our weather really starts getting warm on a consistent basis! I hope to see you out on a few cruises this summer!

I did take her to look at the difference between a Stingray and grand sport. She also told me to pick what I liked but she really didn’t care for the wide GS, so I basically built a GS without the widebody. I sold my ‘96 CE Coupe today, so that should soften the news a bit when I decide to come clean with the news.

Order is supposed to go through on normal rotation which just happens to be before the next big U.S. rush. So we are looking at early May. Thanks again!

Congrats! I ordered a new Z06 a few weeks ago, it's been sitting with Mike F at Criswell waiting for me until the first week of April when I can get down there to grab it.

Ha! I was going to say the same thing The only person I have to ask about a purchase is my bank account, and "she's" very subservient to my wishes lol
