Default C8 Spy shot-Today 3/24/19 - In North Carolina!

Any idea why they would be testing way out here? This was sent by a friend. Spotted in Pilot Mountain NC around 0900 this morning.

They seem to have a garage near there where they can be towed back to when the electronic modules or whatever the problem is strikes. I realize you've set your course with the "cars won't start" deal but you should do a little research...Pilot Mountain is NOT up in the "hills", it is well east of the Blue Ridge Mountains of N.C. and is actually in the Yadkin Valley wine region. A couple of lonely mountains (Pilot Mtn. is the tallest at 2,400 feet) in what is otherwise fairly flat area. But, keep making stuff up like "a shop arranged in that area". And this is NOT a thin population area (to blow up your "avoid being photographed" scenario). Winston-Salem (pop.244,605) is 24 miles away and Greensboro (pop.290,222) is 50 miles away. So, if one wanted to hide in N.C., going to a place with half a million folks within an hour drive wouldn't be it.

You should probably stop while you're behind....

Not sure that's right. Unless I had 2 names for the forum, and logged in under an old one. I get on occasionally, but don't usually post. Is there a rule that says I have to? Just curious.

Parked on side of road. Should have turned around and gotten some good shots.

They are just meandering around the country, trying to work out the bugs, of which there have been more than a few. It appears to be moving under it’s own power, so live is good. Today. LOL

No Medic, there are no rules saying you have to post. There are several on here that many wish would never post.

But to you, thanks for posting

Is it me, or have I never seen that curved body line at the bottom of the door? More padding? I know this seems like more curves and less boxy than other spy shots. Looks great

Even with camo, that car is looking good! I am confident that once the camo comes off, she’s going to be beautiful!

I hope it's padding, but maybe it's something that's needed to keep rocks out of the side scoop which have been thrown up by the front tire.....

Lightened up the pic for more detail. So, yes it is parked off road and......

A) Look how it appears the front ‘peak’ appears to come down even more. And just below rises a little. I know, perspective!
B) The cover over the door entry latch is disturbed after the driver opened the door after exit or just entered.
C) And as noted above the detail line running along the side is more distinct, EVEN APPEARING TO RUN UNDER AND CONTINUING BEYOND THE SCOOP. THE SCOOP NOW APPEARS NOT AS TALL.
