Would a intake with a casting date of July-19-63 be installed on a '63 or '64?
This intake was on my '65 when i got the car.
Casting # 3844459 Date G193 july-19-63.
Would this be used on a '63 or '64 model year car?
Any chance this is original to my nov-7-64 built car? (G.M strike sept-26-64 to nov-6-64).

63 production had only one week or less when that intake was cast. So it’s possible it could have made it on a 63 but any early 64 is more possible

July 63 final serial number - 120990
August 63 final serial number - 121513 (523 cars produced in August of 1963).
A July 19th part could very likely be on a very late 63 car.
Figure a week or so between casting and vehicle assembly, or even two weeks puts us at August 2nd.
1963 production was still going on August 2nd.

The last three #'s (459) of the part # indicate it's from a 1964 300hp engine, the intake manifold part # in 1963 ended with # 349. I can't recall if the 62 and 63 manifolds share the same part # or if the 63 stands alone.

3844459 is also listed in the NCRS pocket spec guide as being on "very late" '63 300HP cars.
FYI my 3844459 intake is dated June '64 and my car was built in May of '65, so I have an 11 month gap. My engine has been apart in the past (I don't know why) so I guess it's possible that it's a service replacement. But I'm not clear on what would have caused someone to replace an intake back then, when the cars were still pretty new.
