Guys, anybody know where to get a cover similar to this? Maybe a family member or friend that sew's?
Doesn't have to have the logo, but if it does I'm looking for C2 I looked at some vendors, but they're a little over the top price-wise in my opinion.

A friend picked up one for me last year at Carlisle "cheap". He wouldn't say how much, just said "almost nothing".

It would be cheaper to keep the hood shut if you're worried about price?

I have both a C1 and C2 version - the C1 cover fits the dual snorkel air cleaner better than the C2 item IMO...
If you can't find the vendor version then there is always one of these:

Being cheap as I am (on Social Security), I would try to come up with an alternative like:
a round pizza pan of the appropriate size painted flat black or pink using magnets to secure it to your original. Or,
a piece of cardboard or plastic cut in the right circle from the Dollar Store with magnets glued on, Or
An old rusty air cleaner top of the right size painted pink and green, Or
Find an old bar stool of the right diameter and steal the cover. Don't get caught a the local pub.
For you guys in the southwest, surely you have an old Stetson laying around.
Get creative. Explain to the wife that if you have to buy one, her shopping budget will be impacted and I bet she will come up with something. $70 bucks it STUPID CRAZY for something from China they buy for less than a buck. If I could find the Singer sewing machine my wife use to use, I would have her make one for $10 or $15 (need money for beer and ear plugs if I put her to work) if she is in the right mood. I'll bet she put that sewing machine in the same place as the iron that I haven't seen in decades.
Anyone else got any unique ideas to throw out there for this poor chap?? ET's space ship???

Someone has a picture of a round dinner place mat used as a cover -- looks bad but works; its key that whatever is used is secured somehow. If it flies off (in a wind) as a towel might - the purpose is defeated...
But seriously, just order one of these, glue some felt to the back and set it over your carb air cleaner stud at shows, you can put a C1/C2 Corvette logo decal on it too, easy on/off and won't blow away or fade:

I had a hard time finding one also.. About 3 years ago, I bought one from a sketchy Corvette vendor('Corvette Necessities - out of business now - no surprise!), and when it arrived, it was slightly too small to fit over the cleaner. Then she refused to refund my money even though the item was not as described....
I wasn't able to find it from the usual vendors.
I placed a "watch" on ebay and eventually got one. (from a seller in England!). Price was 24 British Pounds (about $35)
My neighbor runs an embroidery business out of his garage.. and put the custom logo on it for me.
