Default Adhesive removal-3M

Our cars have lot's of 3M tape holding on to some parts (Body).
I have 3M tape on my splitter, & spoiler from the factory.
I have aftermarket 3M holding "Rim saver" type color wheel bands on all 4.
1-2X a year I need to replace or fix, the adhesive is so aggressive I don't want to
razor blade it, what chemical is save for my wheels and for that matter the
body panels without screwing with the finish?

3M Adhesive Remover. Use fishing line (braid) to remove the stickers then use the adhesive remover to get residue off.

I have the rimblade skuffs installed also. Not easy to remove, I was able to pull off the rimblades but what remained I could only get off using a power washer at point blank range, then the small amount left I was able to goof off.
Between the 3M tape and the adhesive prep towel those things are on for the duration.

Agreed. Been using this for 20 years after being given a can by a body shop friend. I got my last can at NAPA.

I’ve used fishing line, which will easily cut through the tape. You can then use any non-abrasive wax cleaner, 3M Adhesive Removal, or even isopropyl alcohol, to remove any residue. I’ve used this technique on many cars, including my current Z06... to remove the short spoiler winglets when installing the taller extenders, without any issues.
