Non Factory Tires for 2016 Z06
I am looking to replace the factory tires on my 2016 Z06. Does anyone have experience with the Continental Contact Extreme TM Sport or the Nitto Invo? The Nitto rears only come in 345/25/20 instead of 335/25/20 but it only adds less than 1/2" to the width and 0.2 to the diameter. Both are not run flat but I have no problem with that.Continental has the correct sizing.

I have continentals right now.
They are so good in fact, that i changed out the factory PSS's TWICE, and switched to conti.
Do the upgrade, you don't need run flats. They have too many downsides for you to benefit the upside.
I had nitto invos on my C6GS on cup wheels. They were used when i bought them but they still had 7/32 thread. The car wandered everywhere and they were SO LOUD. Never again.
Conti seems to have all the upsides with the only downside, is that they don't look as good as the PSS.

Continental Extreme Contact DW for 2016 Z 06
I just switched from the Pilot Sport Cup 2's on my 2016 Z 06 about a month ago, what a positive change/difference for a Z 06 street driver. The ride is not as harsh or loud as the 2 Cups. There is no more skipping when you make a tight turn before the tires are warm. My Pilot Sport Cup 2's never seemed to reach the proper operating temperature just driving on the street and would frequently break loose on spirited acceleration. The car is now more predictable to drive with the Continental Extreme Contact tires. For being a 340 tread grade rated tire, the Continental Extreme Contact DW hook better for me on the street doing a zero to sixty in 3.4 seconds with very little effort, (no burn out needed). I bought a small compressor and some tire plugs just in case. Both fit nicely in the small storage compartment in the back drivers side with room to spare.

The general consensus is the Invos are garbage tires from an overall performance stand point. They are cheap tires that will let you go from point a to point b without damaging the car.
The Conti's are good on the street but will fall behind the PSS ZP on the track.

Had Continental Contact Extreme's on my 2016 Z06/Z07, had Nitto Invo's on my 2017 Z06/Z07, then switched to Pilot Super Sports non run flats. Kept hearing how bad the Nitto's would be, but they were not bad, they were good tires in every condition for the STREET. Now I would not track those tires, but I don't track my street cars, have dedicated track car for that.

Melting Slicks
Michelin Pilot Supersport non-runflats are $1,100 a set and have always been a great alternative as well. They win most head2head tests against the other tire makers. They stopped making some sizes as Michelin moves to the new PS4. Watch date codes as some of the NOS I've seen is coming up on 4 years old. 5 is generally accepted as OK, I try to keep it no more than 2yo.

I have been running the Continentals for over a year now...I'll buy them again. Much better ride, quieter, can't tell any difference in street driving performance wise. I carry a plug kit and a little 12v pump for flats.
