C6 OEM grand sport wheels and tires on c5
I have a 99 corvette that I'd love to put the grand sport wheels on but keep the same tire and wheel specs as the grand sport. Do I need to extend my fenders at all to put the 325 tires in the rear? I just want to know what to do to make it look really good and not rub.
Thank, Nate

Did these bolt right on? Did you need to modify anything for them to fit? I do not mind them sticking out a bit, it would be rubbing on anything from turn stop to turn stop in front or rubbing anything in the rear.

They bolt right on. The rear might touch on corners on the inner fender liner. I had them for a short while but couldn't stand the poke. In person it looked like a roller skate. A few guys have run smaller tires to tuck them in slightly which looked a little better but your better off either getting reps or running widebody fenders

I have 1" wider quarters and a minitub. Considering c6z wheel setup.

Great pic, very helpful. I couldn't deal with that front poke. My quarters would cover the rears nicely. Post some pics when you're all done.

Thats a really good pic thats shows the poke. When I was looking around everyones pics were at weird angles that really didnt show how bad it was. Thats why I ended up running the oem rears with widebody fenders and replica fronts in the proper offset. I cannot remeber who helped me out but he had a black frc and ran a smaller width tire up front and it made the poke alot less noticeable. I might have pics on my phone

Yeah no problem I honestly think some think it’s not bad, install then try to hide it! The front is far out however looks aggressive, which I like but I already planned on the widebody idea so it should all work out in the end! I’ll post updates over the next few months for sure!
