Please read everything and let me know if you have any questions. I just got in this 2019 GM company owned ZR1. The car has 1,508 miles on it and it is in great condition. The car is still new, but there are a couple disclosures. The car has never been registered or titled. So for DMV, the car is new. As far as the contract goes, we will list it as used since it was a GM company owned vehicle. The warranty did go in effect on this car on 2/20/18. Also there are some very small rock chips on the front end. I tried taking pictures of them, but they are so small, they don't show up in the pictures. I did post pictures of the small chip/scrape on the passenger rear quarter panel/bumper. The car is being sold as is. That is why it has the big discount.
I don't like to do the whole back and forth thing and I do put out my best prices up front. Over the years, the majority of my customers appreciated that. Also the prices I do for the Corvette forum are for Corvette forum members and for Corvette club members. In State Buyers: You will pay tax and license based on where you live and register the car. The only fee we have here at the dealership is an $80 doc fee.
Out of state buyers: You have a couple of options. If you want to have the car shipped to you outside the state of California and take delivery outside the state of California, you would pay the forum price and an $80 doc fee. There are no other fees.If you want to fly in and drive the car home, California collects sales tax of 9.75%, $80 doc fee, and a $25 one way trip permit to leave the state. You will not have to pay double sales tax though in your state once you pay it here in California. Sales tax can only be charged once on a new car transaction.
