Default New wheels tell me what you think

Hello fellas, got my new wheels on, tell me what you think. I got mixed emotions about them and mixed reactions from the wife.
The old ones were the black machine face C6 Z06 repros and the new ones are the Forgestar brushed aluminum.

I like the new ones better than the old ones, but I'm more of a stock guy myself, so I'm not the best one to be answering this question.

Man, I think they look awesome! Haven't seen many in a more factory appearing silver color. Most go black. -which is fine, but I'd do something more like what you did. We all have our opinions, but I love 'em. What are the wheel and tire specs?

So being 100% honest I saw the machined and went ok ok, then saw the brushed five spokes and said hell yes! Love love the new wheels man! Modern and aggressive!

Thanks for the input fellas, the wheels are 18x9.5 up front with 275/35 tires and 19x11 in back with 305/30s Toyo r888r
I had those black ones on for a couple years and I must have looked at 300 pictures online before I settled on the brushed cf5’s. Just a whole new look from what it was, but it’s growing on me.

I like them both but the Forgestar brushed aluminum wheels look better.

MUCH better. Like 100% better. I have a thing for brushed Forgestars, too. LOL

The old wheels look like they belong on a Caprice Classic "donk" in a 26" diameter.

You guys think they would look better in another color? I thought black but the whole wheel kind of disappears in the wheel well on a black car?

Where did you get the wheels? Didn't see brushed on their list of finishes.

There are some beautiful looking cars out there with black wheels, and I'm not saying I wouldn't run them. However, I really think you lose a lot of the detail of a really nice wheel when it's painted black.

I got them from wheeltrade.com but brushed is a custom finish an extra $150 a wheel

Those brushed CF5's look killer, on your car. Brushing is an expensive option but it sure sets the wheels off.

Time to add your car to the Custom Wheel & Tire Database sticky, at the top of the page.
