QTP exhaust cutouts FTW!

QTP exhaust cutouts FTW!
I have these on my ’06 Jeep SRT-8 and love them so had to get them for my Corvette. My Vette has the Z06 titanium exhaust and it is super quiet. That’s fine, because with the press of a button I literally have an open header cammed high compression 426 screaming race car! It is so nice to be able to switch between quiet and loud so quickly and easily and at a whim. Some jerk pisses you off? Open headers blast to his ears *****. Neutral throttle blips sound just awesome. Feeling a little guilty after some hoonanagens? Close the exhaust and blame it on some other guy with the loud car! Waze telling you cops ahead? Close the exhaust and be just another old guy driving slow in a Corvette. A couple days ago some guy in a loud Roush Mustang I destroyed followed me to my destination just to tell me that my car is the best sounding car he’s ever heard. I agree. At full throttle it literally sounds like the roar a Tyrannosaurus Rex makes one second before it eats you.
I’ve had a lot of problems with these cutouts on my Jeep, but they’ve been on my Vette since November and no leaks or issues yet (knock on wood). Perhaps it is because on my Jeep they are installed right after the headers, and on the Vette they are further back right before the mufflers. I suspect the heat of the headers is destroying the exhaust motors on my Jeep. They last about 3 months before starting to leak. Also, I have the 3” rounds on my Vette and the “Low Profile” ovals on my Jeep; not sure if the low pros are just crap or not. I have also had issues with the valves on the low pros becoming misaligned and even falling off. I don't recommend the low profiles and will get the rounds next time on the Jeep.
I used a different rocker switch than what came with the kit, installed next to the shifter.
Just wanted to post this and say I highly recommend these things!

I would like to see a QTP "dial" setup.
You have a volume ****. All the way down is full muffler. As you start to turn up the dial one of the QTP valves starts to open. Around mid way 2nd one start to open. At full they are both full open.
I wonder if that would work the way I am envisioning it, or just sound like a leaky exhaust.

Takes about 3 or 4 seconds to go from fully open to fully closed.

I have DMH units and absolutely love them. They are probably the most "fun" addition I have made to the car.
OE quiet or NASCAR loud at the touch of a switch.......or anywhere in between.

My Kenwood head unit raises the antenna whenever it is on; not just when listening to the radio. I thought that sucked so needed a switch to manually control it. Plus I added heated seats. Needed to fill the rest of the gauge panel so it is ready for nitrous. Not that I need or may ever get nitrous. Meh. Should have substituted it for LINE LOCK but I have other plans for that.

Looks like a nice install and I can imagine the great sound the car now makes.
