Default Indy 500 Pace Car

Gonna watch the Indy 500 . I hope the 'Vette pace car don't blow an engine ( sorry Ken ) or get a flat due to a cracked rim during the race

Here is Jim Rathmann…..winner of the 1960 Indy 500....and the gentleman that sold my '65 Coupe way back in '65 to its original owners right off his Chevy dealership showroom floor in Melbourne Fla. Oh....Rathmann also drove the Indy Pace Car in 1978. When I took the '65 to an NCRS meet back in '99 or '00 (cant remember which) at the NCM, the actual '78 Pace Car used on the track was parked next to my '65 on the show field. Small world indeed.

Danica won’t be driving it so it should be OK.

These wheels work better with the car than chrome would.

For example, look at the front vent.

Consider the color and finish.

And the color of the stripe.
