Need photo of 84-89 Bose radio harness plugs
Hi everyone,
I'm fixing some cruel mistakes a younger and dumber me made nineteen years ago when I cut connectors off the dash and Bose radio harnesses in my '87 to install an aftermarket stereo at the time. All I'm doing now is repairing the two harnesses back to factory connectors and will then use a modern plug-in harness adapter with a new aftermarket stereo.
I already purchased and installed a replacement '87 Bose harness. This fixed 2 of the 4 connectors, but there are two more I need to repair which are part of a different and much larger dash harness. The only one I'm physically missing is a brown or black 4-pin connector of similar shape to the blue/white connectors. Is anyone with an originally Bose equipped 84-89 that has their original connectors in place willing to take a few photos of the connector as well as the wire colors & pin position? There are a couple dash harnesses on eBay, but I don't want to spend $250-300 just to get a 30 year old brittle connector if I can source it elsewhere. Thanks in advance!
The connector I still need to fix.
4-wire connector, probably brown or black in color and looks similar to the white/blue ones in the attached image.
My missing brown/black connector should look similar to the blue/white ones in the Bose harness as all three plug into the radio next to each other.

- Pink: Power antenna
- Black: Ground
- Gray: Interior Lights Dimming (varied original display lights when headlight **** was turned)
- Yellow: Switched +12V, Radio Fuse

These people + many others sell just pigtails. - a package of all 3 is less than $15 and they might service singles. Contact them. If there's any GM pick and pulls these connectors will do nearly all GM of the times. Actually through the years many dealers just kept the pigtails for shop repairs. If I were in a town with a very old dealer I'd maybe go ask. Pick n PULL if there's any? These guys? Do you have the other 2 connectors required? The other 2 are singles.

There's likely a few dozen 'users' with the connector you're wanting just hanging around!!

Wow that's a perfect pigtail set, thanks for the resource above! I'll be bookmarking them for the future for anything else which pops up.
I thought I was missing this connector (https://www.lectriclimited.com/connector-radio-104929) but another trip under the dash found it still connected to the brown wire.

Thank you, @85WHITEZ51 , this gives me exactly what I need for wire locations in my currently busted black/brown connector.
I have a set of blue/white/brown connectors coming. In addition to fixing the black/brown one I'm going to use the spare blue/white connectors to connect new 12ga oxygen free copper speaker wire and run it to the speaker locations instead of reusing the 32 year old stuff in the harnesses.
