Default how much should sell car for?

Im selling my car and Im not sure what to ask. Its a 1977 with a new 355 Blueprint engine and 650 edelbrock carb. Rebuilt 200r4 transmission and im including the old t350. Rear suspension is updated and the bottom was painted with apoxy. Interior was trashed when I got it and wanted and started to do a custom dash with digital guages. I dont have the time and iv got 3 kids in college now so im done with this project. I have all the parts for lock up on the trans and electric head lights. Here are some pics.

It's really hard to determine value from a short description and a few pictures. Hoever, that being said, I don't see a center gauge console, and can't tell if it still has the orig speedo and tach. If it has working gauges, it would be a nice car and worth somewhere between 10 and 20K in my opinion, depending on the market in your area and how fast you want to sell. But without working gauges, it's a project car and I would deduct 5k.

Better pics of the interior and especially of what’s missing in the dash would help. It looks like a really nice car with mods that would really help the drivability. You want to avoid being in the “project” market with such a car, especially with a 77 which has less to differentiate it from other C3s. The good news is that modified cars seem to be more sought after currently.

i am sorry but you have to gold plate a 77 to make it worth 20. get some kind of functional dash and mebbe 6 or 7.

Thanks for all the information. Do you think if I held on to it, the value will go up?

Only if you finished the dash and gauges. Lots of speculation on how the C3 market will go, but few of us are looking for big gains.

Agree with this. Modified (Non-restomod- theres a difference) rubber bumper cars are a very difficult sell, even if someone likes it. Very soft market.

I agree, I frequently see these around for 6-7K and I wouldn't pay that unless I was sure the frame and birdcage were rust free.

meanwhile even 10k ain't much diff to 3 tuition bills. are they each gonna buy you a third of a Vette after graduation? tell yourself-and them it isn't worth enough to make a difference now. and soon enough you are gonna be in a position to get back to it and it will be gone, they will be gone and the money you got for it will be gone.
