Anyone else going to take a break from the forum after the reveal?
I've thoroughly enjoyed the last 4+ years looking for clues and watching renders and CAD leaks etc. Putting together the puzzle is half the fun for me.The C7 forum was bad after the reveal and I think this car will be 100x worse as far as the forum exploding with negative Nancys. Probably going to take 2 weeks off to let everyone who wants to tell us all how much they hate it to get it out of their system.
C7 Gen was inundated with posts about the rear end, tail lights, no DCT, the fact that the LT1 only made 30 more horse than the LS3 despite having direct injection etc. etc. etc.

Nah, I have pretty much figured out which threads to click on and which to ignore based off of username and title...
I am actually looking forward to the info we do not find out at the reveal getting out there and hope we start seeing pics of the uncovered car at dealers and on the road...

Nah. Still have my love for the forum circus. The C8 is still just a car.

It's going to be a 1:20 ratio of reasoned discussion thread vs. "they ruined the Corvette".

Hater's were likely never going to buy one anyway but they will assert their opinions as if they would have IF only GM had done a better job. I think the car is going to continue on in the Corvette tradition. It will look good, perform good and be good value for the money. However I personally will be waiting a couple of years not because of anything wrong with the new car just because I need to just continue to enjoy my C7 for a couple more driving seasons.

The activity in the C8 section should increase greatly post reveal and that is a good thing.

No, I like to see everyone's reaction, even the inevitable negativity. Maybe I'm a massachist.
