The previous owner had a bay area shop (don't know the name) disassemble it to have it chromed plated ....then the shop reassembled it. Can't have many miles on it . Ive had it 25 years and the car was apart long before that. Feels like new.... with lots of adjustment left and someone spent BL money on it . Let me know if interested. G

For the people asking , GM Made two versions of steering box for the C2 & C3
Dimensionally the same. interchangeable with rag joint . Two part numbers & features different
1. This Box is .........1963 to 1969 ish . (GM Part Number 78089270) Has full round spline at rag joint and Iron sector shaft adjustment bearing cap.
2. 1970 to 82 (GM Part Number 7819668) steering spline has flat for rag joint bolt and aluminum adjustment sector shaft bearing cap.

Steering box will fit in Priority Flat Rate box $20.00. USA only.
