Thought I'd get this going like I did for the C7 ZR1 folks. Times are beginning to creep in and I'd love to see your best times. The rules are the same, post all details that the tables call for or it won't be put on the list. There is a table for modified and one for stock cars. Of course the list can be modified based on suggestions. I will delete the section for trans on the next update.
Takes ***** to spray a brand new $60,000 car and void the warranty on day one. Mine don't hang nearly that low. I dropped of almost 80k at the dealership. Can't imagine immediately racing and breaking it.
Also, the car is really grippy, even in the wet, so I wonder how much difference tires really make. Maybe with spraying out of the hole, but otherwise, it seems like it's really hooked up.

Saturday night I watched Doug Ring run the ECS car at Atco vs "The Hulk" Shelby 500 Mustang on You Tube. I had read on this forum people belly ache about he only ran a 11.5 best run. Well watching that video a couple of things stood out to me. First was the "launch control" may be great but looked to me like it's only great if there's not a guy in the other lane. Seems to hesitate and I'm wondering if a good driver can beat that using a "roll into the throttle pedal" in at the tree. Also it looked like it's very hard to heat up the tires. I'm sure Doug and the East Coast Supercharging guys will have that car running in the high tens soon enough. I know those guys and they're excellent. Just my 2 observations.
Thanks Keagan. Since the C8 section began, it has provided me with much entertainment. It has gained even more excitement since the deliveries to members has begun. Thanks a bunch to Corvette Forum and the diligent moderators and the members. I look forward to some road course times for members cars.

Thanks Mike, that was actually one of our managers Alex driving. Keep in mind that he broke the 500 mile break in on the way to the track, so he never launched the car prior to being on track that day. We think with a drag radial and playing with the launch some the car can run an 11.0 give or take. It will have to be done by someone else though, ours is getting the turbo's mounted now.
Can you post your time slip and details? I would be happy to add you!
Im still happy my little shitbox 2008 c6 ls3 with cam and headers runs in the 10s for total cost of 15 grand $
I know I barely hang with a C7 z06 with minor mods but the C8 hybrid AWD coming in 2022 will be killer . 2021 will only have two more colors available and some othe minor features available
