My 67 coupe has a production date of Feb 28, 1967 and was delivered to Schonlaw Chevy in Hollywood. There is very little info on the web about the dealership. Does anyone out there have any memories of the place?
Apologies for the necro but this seemed relevant enough about Schonlaw Chevrolet to merit.
FWIW - In this video you can see Schonlaw Chevrolet sign and entrance on Sunset strip from ~6:27 to ~6:37. Video is colorized (poorly) and has a fake sound track.
Schonlaws Chevrolet was a very old time Chevy store at 7601 Sunset. Housed in an historic old building on the corner of Curson Ave, the building is still there but has been Bonhams Auction Gallery for decades. You can find old ads for Schonlaws, license frames, dealer trinkets, and pictures on the web, and that's about it.

That, my friend, is the coolest video I have seen in a long time. I spotted a 53 Ford, so it's probably late 52. Being 75 years old, that is the world of my first memories.
I thought they closed The Business or moved away somewhere.

I sold cars for Schonlaw Chevrolet in the early 1980s.. It was a great place to work; the dealership held season tickets to Dodger baseball games, front row, first base line, behind visitors dugout.. Typically available to sales and management when the General Manager wasn't using them.. I left in 1985, and relocated to Parker Robb Chevrolet in Walnut Creek California.. I have no idea what happened to them, and there's very little information online, and a surprisingly few number of photos..

Walnut Creek Ford was a Shelby dealer back in the day. One of the few who sold Cobras. Do you remember it?
