Gerry, who is President and Owner of CW4L, has always had a great reputation for excellent customer service on this forum, but allow me to offer what I consider to be an over and beyond the call of duty story.
I ordered 4 Forgeline FO1s last week, which were shipped the same day I ordered, and 3 of them arrived via UPS on Saturday, 2 days after placing the order. However, one was missing, even though it was also showing "out for delivery" with the other 3. We both figured it was somehow left off the truck and would show up on on the next UPS business today, which was today,. The missing wheel was indeed delivered today, and unfortunately not to me, but to an unknown loading dock in a city 30 miles away.
Gerry spent most of today calling various UPS supervisors, and he has connections with senior UPS management. As a result of his persuasive efforts, UPS was motivated enough to successfully reclaim the wheel from the wrong address, and a UPS supervisor showed up tonight around 8pm in a small van with the missing wheel.
If you've ever tried to call UPS about a delivery screw-up, you know how miraculous that outcome is. He was tracking it and communicating with me all day, and I had a text from him at the same moment I was accepting delivery from the UPS supervisor.
If you order from Gerry, he will have your back! Now off to get them mounted tomorrow with an appointment I thought I'd have to cancel.
Received 3 out of 4 of ours yesterday, and they are absolutely gorgeous. They arrived 2 days after you shipped, but UPS apparently failed to put one on the final delivery truck even though it was scanned "out for delivery" with all the others, and it will hopefully get here Monday.
