Does tinting your windshield affect the HUD?

Does tinting your windshield impact your HUD or prevent it from working all together?

I got my C7 (50%) and C8 (70%) tinted.
It makes the HUD easier to see in direct sunlight

I have Xpel XR Plus 70% ceramic tint on the windshield. Never had any issues with it. You asked for a photo. Here is a pic from today, a bright and sunny day. No issues at all.

all my cars have had 35% on whle front for years. HUD is same or better. as lights shows up on slightly darker better, so can dim it more if you want.

I agree, I have 50% on the front and no issues as well (XPel).
